What this is
Coffee Shop Finder is a personal project by Lisa Pederson, based in San Francisco, CA. It helps people find cafés in SF that are good for remote work. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the site and how we use it.
Data we collect
- Email address — when you create an account. Used only for authentication. We do not send marketing emails.
- Favorites and check-ins — cafés you save and visits you log via the Passport feature. Stored in your account.
- Coffee dates — café meet-up invitations you create or accept.
- Page views and interactions — anonymous analytics via Vercel Analytics. No personal identifiers are collected. IP addresses are not stored.
Third-party services
- Supabase — stores your account and app data. Hosted in the US. Supabase privacy policy.
- Mapbox — renders the café map. May collect anonymized usage data. Mapbox privacy policy.
- Vercel — hosts the site and collects anonymous analytics. Vercel privacy policy.
Cookies
We use cookies for authentication (keeping you signed in) and anonymous analytics. Authentication cookies are essential and cannot be disabled without logging out. Analytics cookies are non-essential — you can decline them via the cookie notice.
Your rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. If you're in the EU or California, you also have the right to access, correct, or export your data. Email us to exercise any of these rights.
